Trains from Delhi to Agra, India depart regularly throughout the day from Delhi’s main train station and arrive at Agra Cantt train station.

Train tickets from Delhi to Agra vary based on what class you travel.

A First Class A/C ticket costs around Rs. 1,466.

The best train to take from Delhi to Agra is the early morning Shatabdi Express train at 6:15am (no service on Fridays).

It takes only 2 hours as opposed the 3 or 4 hours that some of the later trains take.

Other trains from Delhi to Agra include, but are not limited to the following.

- 7:15am Taj Express (2h52m)
- 9:20am Mangala Express (3h)
- 11:30am Kerala Express (2h50m)
- 2:00pm Ndls Jbp Super Express (3h10m)

Note that some trains have different hours for summer and winter, and schedules are subject to change.  Make sure to confirm times before you purchase your tickets.

NB: There is a government run pre-paid taxi stand (er, shack) outside of the Agra Cantt train station. The cost is Rs. 150 with a Rs. 5 surcharge. Don’t go with any other taxi drivers.
